KBL Round 2 (Regular Season): Seoul Knights keep a leadership position

There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in KBL. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Knights smashed Sonicboom in Seoul 104-64. Seoul Knights dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Sonicboom's 32. Seoul Knights outrebounded Suwon KT 42-29 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Seoul Knights looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) who had a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 18 rebounds and 5 assists. chipped in 10 points and 7 assists. American center Isaiah Hicks (206-1994, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) produced 19 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sonicboom will play next round against Seoul Thunders trying to get back on the winning streak. Knights will try to continue on its current victory against Sono SG in Daegu.
Wonju DB recorded a loss at the home court. Hosts were edged by Sakers 82-79. orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Assem Marei contributed with 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Sakers' coach Sung-Won Cho allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American center Henry Ellenson (208-1997, college: Marquette) replied with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for Wonju DB. Sakers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Wonju DB will play at home against Anyang and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 2 Mobis Phoebus defeated Sono SG in Ulsan 80-72.

But Skygunners were not able to use a home court advantage and were defeated by the opponent from Ulsan 80-72. Mobis Phoebus shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Panamanian power forward Eric Romero (210-1999) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. contributed with 9 points and 10 assists for the winners. American power forward Nathan Knight (208-1997, college: William & Mary) replied with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and Jae-Do Lee added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Sono SG. Skygunners' coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Mobis Phoebus will play against Suwon KT in Busan in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Skygunners will play at home against Seoul Knights to get more than just one victory in their record.
